Full Breeding Rights FAQ
Why Do we require a
full breeding rights surcharge?

> Breeding requires an extensive amount of knowledge about the specific breed of Dog. There is an assumption of health risk that is to be taken when breeding a dog specifically a female. In addition to the health risk to the dog, there is also the risk of puppy birthing and caring for new born puppies which are vulnerable to many types of health problems that could result in puppy mortality (death).
> Another aspect of breeding is the pairing of male and female dogs of the same breed with respect to size and weight of the breeding pairs.
> Blood line separation and in breeding prevention is imperative to preserving the health and well being of every puppy.
>Another aspect is the cost of caring, feeding and medicating breeding dogs. Breeding dogs require constant observance and care for their health and well being. This includes veterinary knowledge on injecting puppies and breeding dogs with shots. Vaccination of dogs is not difficult but does require some knowledge and training. Normally breeding dogs require many more veterinarian visits than most dogs because the health of breeding dogs must be maintained to a higher quality than non-breeding dogs because the lives of small puppies depends on it.
>Because we love and care deeply for each and every puppy we sell, we would prefer to not sell dogs for the purpose of breeding to just anyone. It takes a special type of dog owner willing to take on the risk, the cost, and the extra special care.
> How much is the surcharge? Our Surcharge is 350.00 per puppy in addition to the regular price
> Can I purchase a puppy with full breeding rights? It depends, we do not sell puppies with full breeding rights to anyone residing in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, or Northern West Virginia. We maintain business relationships with three other breeders in the Northeastern United States.
